By using the Connected Places Catapult Community Platform (“Site”), you signify your assent to these Rules. If you do not agree to these Rules, please do not use this Site.

This Site is managed by Connected Places Catapult (“Site Manager”), under an agreement with the commercial partners (“the Parties”). The purpose of this Site is to enable access to external funding opportunities, resources, and connections for individuals and organisations. These Rules may be modified at the Site Managers’ and Connected Places Catapult’s discretion and the Parties reserve the right to modify the Site at any time. Connected Places Catapult has the right to discontinue the Site at any time.

The Parties expect participants to show respect, civility, and professionalism. The Site Managers may remove any content that is inappropriate, including but not limited to, comments that contain vulgar, abusive, or profane language, “off topic” material, contain sexual content, overly graphic, disturbing, obscene or offensive material, or material that would otherwise violate the law if published here, including offensive language directed at race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability. Users shall not troll the Site or individuals by posting material intended to upset members or elicit an angry response; post spam or links to phishing sites; or harass group members in any way, including any form of cyber-bullying, or verbal or written harassment. The Site Managers may ban a member for violating these Rules.

Users of the Site shall exercise discretion in messaging other individuals through the Site direct messaging feature, and may be blocked from messaging or banned from the Site if the Site Managers are notified of poor messaging conduct (including excessive numbers of messages, unrelated sales pitches, or other behaviour that does not align with the objectives of Connected Places Catapult.

Reference on the Site to any specific company, product, process or service by trade name, trademark, manufacturer or otherwise, does not constitute or imply an endorsement, recommendation or approval by the Parties. The views expressed in user content on the Site reflect those of the author and do not reflect the official views of Connected Places Catapult.

Connected Places Catapult do not warrant or make any representation regarding the use or the results of the use of the materials or information on the Site, or the accuracy, adequacy, completeness, legality, reliability, or usefulness of any materials or information on the Site. Connected Places Catapult do not evaluate, verify, or endorse the statements or qualifications of the persons or entities that participate in the Site. Participants must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such content. Any information posted publicly on this website is public information and may not be subject to privacy protections. Thus, please do not post any information that is private, confidential, legally protected from disclosure or publishing, or personal information in public profiles.  

You may post non-public information in your organisational profile in fields designated “private”, and that portion of your profile will be available only to Site Managers and program administrators associated directly with your organisation. Site Managers may grant access to public and private data for administrators of programs that have partnered with Connected Places Catapult and are associated with the organisation for which private data is being accessed. 

Connected Places Catapult and administrators of partner programs may use aggregated data from Site users for analysis, promotion, and reporting purposes. Connected Places Catapult and administrators of partner programs do not pay for any information provided by an individual participant.

In addition to the above Terms of Use, you agree to the Connected Places Catapult data privacy policy from Site developer SkipsoLabs.
